Willow and I

Willow will be in surgery tomorrow. She has a malignant tumor on her chin - the thing is attached to her jawbone. The vet says that Willow has a pretty good chance to recover fully, even though a part of her jawbone has to be removed alongside the tumor. Here's to hoping that everything goes well. Say a prayer for us, if you have a moment.

I'm glad the day is here for her to get that out of her. I hope all goes well tomorrow, and that not too much jaw bone needs to be removed. She's such a pretty girl.

I realized at the beginning of this month that it was exactly five years ago my cat was hit by a car and had a broken jaw. She didn't come home for over 24 hours and it was tricky because of the infection that had developed. But she pulled through. Cats are tough.

Sending lots of warm wishes and healing thoughts.

I have a cat too, it's awful when they're so ill. I hope all goes well.
